Founded in 1975, the SAS Group has been a prominent fixture in Bahrain's legal landscape for over four decades. Our founder, Salman Sahwan, was a distinguished lawyer who envisioned a law firm that would deliver exceptional legal services to clients in the region. 1977 – Collaborative Efforts
SAS collaborated with other lawyers to found the Bahrain Bar Society, contributing to the development of the legal profession in the region.
Our firm's legal expertise was recognized as our founder, Salman Sahwan, was elected Deputy President of the Bahrain Bar Society.
1990 – A New Home
In pursuit of providing a more convenient location for our clients, our headquarters were relocated to Diplomat Tower, the heart of Bahrain's business capital.
1997 – A Leadership Role
Our firm's legal expertise was recognized as our founder, Salman Sahwan, was elected Deputy President of the Bahrain Bar Society.

2009 – Passing the Torch
After the untimely demise of our founder, Salman Sahwan, attorney Abdulla Sahwan took on the role of managing the firm and continuing his father's legacy.
2012 – Modernization
We adapted to cloud-based infrastructure and modernized our operations, business, and expansion strategy to remain competitive in the evolving global markets.
2014 – GCC Network Association
SAS established a GCC network association with reputable law firms in the Middle East, including Abdul Hameed Alsarraf Law Firm in Kuwait and The Firm in Dubai, based on reciprocal cooperation for the benefit of our clients.
2018 – Expansion and Growth
As part of our ongoing expansion strategy, we relocated our headquarters to Wind Tower, expanding our reach and services in the region.
2019 – International Recognition
SAS was recognized as a certified GCC international arbitrator, consistent with five members registered that year.
2020 – GCC Network Expansion
Our network expanded to Saudi Arabia and Oman, and we achieved a significant victory for our client in Oman with the help of local lawyers.
2020 – Notary of Bahrain
We became one of the first two private notarization services to obtain the official notary of Bahrain seal, solidifying our commitment to providing exceptional legal services to our clients.
2022 – UK Expansion
We expanded our law firm to the UK, opening our first branch in Europe and forming strategic partnerships with legal service providers to serve our clients better.
